My first bendy card: A project on Two Peas In A Bucket
For days I’ve been thinking about this challenge. What I could come up with to participate, and it came to me five o’clock this morning. I jumped out of bed and banged it out! Woo! I am pretty happy with it although it needs a sentiment and maybe a couple pearls, what do you think?
I think the frame made it and the white embossing does not show well in the picture. This card will be entered into the Runway Inspired Challenge.
I was dreaming cards all night and was making cards at 6 am! This happened cause I started a card last night and it was on my mind all night. I was thinking of how I would finish it.
This was the inspirations.
This card is just GORGEOUS! I found it here at the Hero Arts Blog. I quickly pinned it, and the card on the left is what I came up with.
I like it and thought it was a pretty good job. The card on the right I made early this morning also, and the tulips were cut with the Silhouette Cameo.
I made this next card for the Cas-ual Fridays Challenge. This week the challenge is CFC92: Stamp your own background on your CAS creation. Cards, tags, layouts, etc are all welcome!
Love the colors and love that stamp set. I’m pretty happy with this.
These two other cards I had SO much fun making especially the glittered card. Colors are SO pretty.
Most of the cards I did today aren’t complete. I still have greetings and sentiments and probably some final touches, but I was excited to share and quite honestly, I’m winding down now, and they may not get done for a few days.
Today I am stopping in to share a few cards I made to enter several challenges. I’ve been enjoying these challenges, they keep me thinking of new designs to meet the requirements. So here we go . . .this card I made for a one layer snowflake card challenge at A Paperie Journey.
This next card I made for Addicted to CAS blog, the code word was “sweet”. I immediately thought of my honey comb and bee stamp. This is what I came up with. This card is sweek like honey, lol.
I think it’s so cute, just love it.
Th CAS-ual Fridays bog challenge this week is “even the score” meaning score lines. I wanted to incorporate the hexagon shape and created this card. It’s quite different . . .
I am so proud of my scrap booking divas. We rented a booth at Christmas Spoken Here which is a fund raiser for the Botanical Garden. This is a picture of our booth.
The event took place on December 9, 2012. Set up began at 8 am, the grounds were open to the public at 11 am – 5 pm. We had handmade cards, decorated gift boxes, desk calendars for sale. We had a great day!
I made this card for the “knots” challenge at CAS-ual Fridays Blog. I made the candy canes with the Noel Slice design card some time ago. They were sitting on my craft table for weeks. When I saw the challenge I instantly thought of them. I thought they would make a great card displaying “knots”, because the candy canes are each tied with a bow.
I made this card for the “Bauble” challenge at Addicted to CAS blog.
Tomorrow my scrap booking buddies and I will be selling Christmas Cards at Christmas Spoken Here at the Botanical Garden. Christmas Spoken Here is a fund raiser for the garden. Booths are rented to local crafter’s for the day. It is an annual event that has been in existence for many years. Wish us luck, it is the first time we will be offering our handmade cards for sale.
